Morphing Culture(s) Research Group is a team of scholars affiliated with the Institute of Literature and New Media, University of Szczecin, whose work focuses on a variety of fields and themes within popular culture studies. Our research interests include:
- film studies, particularly digital cinema;
- digital television and streaming media;
- new media, memetics and participatory culture;
- adaptation, appropriation and transmediality;
- fashion, photography and design;
- liminality and transgression in popular culture;
- (queer) gothic and horror in popular culture;
- trauma studies and popular culture;
- historicity and temporality in popular culture.
